CTE student to represent province in international art tilt
Earlier, he ranked second among 25 contestants from the different schools in the province which qualified him to be one of the representatives of Ilocos Norte to the international competition.
Pillos receives a trophy, certificate, and a cash prize in the awarding ceremony held July 29 at the Philippine National Red Cross Office in Laoag City.
His Artwork will compete with other winning pieces of other contestants from the different Asia Pacific nations.
Winners in the international poster-making contest will be announced October 4 through www.blood.info.net and www.redcross.org.kr. The awarding ceremony is set October 17 to be attended by the KRC president and the Korean minister of health and welfare.
Pillos believes that “you can get what you want if you have the determination to reach it”. “Don’t be afraid of trying. Opportunity comes only once and once it gets on your hand, don’t let it go away,” he said.
