COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION – A faculty member here has been chosen as one of ten grantees of the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) Fullbright Scholarship in the United States.
Aris Reynold V. Cajigal, a 2001 secondary education, magna cum laude graduate of MMSU, is scheduled to pursue a doctor of philosophy in science education in an American university in academic year 2007-2008.
PAEF selected eight principal candidates and two alternate candidates from 190 applicants. Cajigal was chosen one of the principal candidates. Prior to his selection, he was interviewed by PAEF in May this year. Recently, he attended the Fullbright nominees briefing program at the PAEF office in Makati City where the PAEF executive director discussed matters for a successful placement in an American university.
In a letter to President Miriam E. Pascua, Cajigal expressed his gratitude to the university for inspiring and supporting him.
