THE BOARD of Regents (BOR), in its 70th regular meeting at the Sulo Hotel in Quezon City, has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Ninfa S. Asia, assistant professor of business administration of the College of Business, Economics, and Accountancy, as acting director of the University Manpower Development Program (UMDP), the post left by Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis who is on a visiting research scholarship at the Kyoto University in Japan.

Dr. Asia is fresh from her doctor in public administration degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She holds a master in public administration from MMSU and is a graduate of a bachelor of arts, magna cum  laude, from the Northern Christian College.

Meanwhile, Dr. Primo B. Valenzuela has been also given the Medical Officer V position by the Personnel Selection and Promotion Board for Nonteaching Personnel.
