<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=5><P align=left><STRONG>CAF faculty wins in nat’l scientific confab</STRONG></P></FONT>
A SCIENTIFIC paper by a faculty member of the agricultural engineering department of the College of Agriculture and Forestry recently won in a national convention for the study of nature.
“Predicting copper transport in an undisturbed soil column using the tworegion transport model”, a paper by engineer Nathaniel R. Alibuyog, won the Best Paper Award in the physical science category during the 6th annual scientific convention of the Philippine Society for the Study of Nature. With the theme “becoming and being one with nature”, the convention was held May 15- 21 in Kapalong, Davao del Norte.
Aside from winning, Alibuyog said that the convention was also an opportunity for him to learn, meet, and network with other professionals which broadened his perspective in environmental research.
