DR. GLICERIA S. Pascua of  the College of Agriculture and Forestry received the Applied Science Award during the 2nd Annual Dr. Lino Edralin Lim Educational and Development Foundation Awards at the City Garden Suites in Malate, Manila, Sept. 23.

The ceremony coincided with the 91st birthday of Dr. Lino Edralin Lim, the foundation’s patron.

Pascua was awarded for her work on fruit crops development particularly for her outstanding research and development work on five varieties of fruit such as mango, tamarind, caimito, avocado.  The foundation recognized that once popularized, these fruit varieties will directly benefit farmers.
