Mariano Marcos State University will host the 9th International Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Forum with the theme, “ESD in the New Normal,” on December 7, 2021. 

The forum aims to discuss the initiatives of the Sustainable Development Goals Consortium (SDGC) along with the ESD’s five priority action areas for 2030 – policy, learning environments, building capacities of educators, youth, and local level action. 

To be held virtually (Zoom and Facebook livestream), the forum will be participated in by students, lecturers, and researchers at all levels from MMSU, Shizuoka University in Japan, Srinakharinwirot University and Burapha University in Thailand, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia. 

In the event, member-institutions will share their best practices, policies, and other pandemic-responsive programs. 
Participants are expected to acquire baseline information for the attainment of the world’s sustainable development goals.
