PRC recognizes MMSU as Top-Performing School in July 2026 Master Plumbers Licensure Exam

After recording an outstanding 91.07% institutional rating, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) has officially received its certificate of recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission through the Professional Regulatory Board for Master Plumbers after placing 8th in the July 2026 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination.
The university produced 51 new plumbers which collectively surpassed the 78.86% national passing rate for the exam and placed the institution as one of the top-performing schools with more than 30 examinees and a passing rate above 80%.
In the past, MMSU has maintained a favorable institutional rating, consistently surpassing the national passing rate in the past five Licensure Examinations for Master Plumbers since 2024, leading to the top-performing output this year.
The award was received by MMSU President Virgilio Julius P. Manzano Jr., along with the College of Engineering Dean Sharona Barroga.
The July 2026 Master Plumber board exam took place on July 11-12, 2026, at testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.
Dr. Manzano expressed optimism that the university will sustain this momentum in upcoming licensure examinations, including nursing, education, civil engineering, and physical therapy, to further cement MMSU's reputation for academic excellence.
