MMSU-CVM receives books, expert insights from VKV-VLV

The Mariano Marcos State University College of Veterinary Medicine (MMSU-CVM) received a significant boost to its academic resources following a book donation from the Venerable Knight Veterinarians (VKV) fraternity and the Venerable Lady Veterinarians (VLV) sorority. The official turnover ceremony took place at the university library on July 22.

The event was attended by CVM faculty and students, alongside members of the VKV and VLV. As prominent college-based organizations in the Philippines, these groups are exclusively dedicated to veterinary students and have long been recognized for their contributions to the field.

The activity also featured a specialized case presentation titled "Common Surgical Mistakes: Lessons From Real Cases," delivered by Dr. Cerdy G. Deloso of the VKV-VLV Fraternity and Sorority USA. The session provided students with valuable clinical insights and practical knowledge derived from professional veterinary practice.

Dr. Virgilio Julius P. Manzano Jr. expressed his deep appreciation for the donation and the seminar, noting that such support is vital for the continued development of the university’s newly established veterinary college.

With a presence in 20 universities nationwide, the VKV and VLV remain committed to their core values of academic excellence, veterinary missions, and the promotion of fraternity and sorority ideals within the profession.
