7 MMSU officials complete Wharton Executive Leadership Program

Seven MMSU officials of Mariano Marcos State University successfully completed the Wharton Executive Leadership and Management Certificate Program conducted by the faculty of Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Aris Reynold Cajigal, VP for Research, Development, and Innovation Dr. Nathaniel Alibuyog, College of Law (COL) Dean Atty. Brian Jay Corpuz, and Curriculum Development and Innovative Learning Director Prof. Luvee Hazel Aquino completed the online program held from June to September 2025.
Meanwhile, MMSU President Virgilio Julius P. Manzano, Jr., VP for Resource Generation and Management Dr. Bjorn Santos, and the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) Dean Dr. Saturnina Nisperos also completed the program from September to December 2024.
The said program culminated in a week-long in-person reflection and capstone series at the Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania, attended by Atty. Corpuz, who represented MMSU in the in-person activities. He joined a distinguished cohort of 21 presidents and executive leaders of higher education institutions from across the Philippines.
“It is a complete privilege to represent MMSU at the Wharton School”, Atty. Corpuz shared, expressing his gratitude to CHED for making the program possible.
“I thank the CHED Husay Project, Chair Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, and President Julius P. Manzano for the opportunity. The experience was very rewarding as it gave me academic exchanges with top academicians at Wharton and 21 academic leaders in the Philippines who joined the in-person reflections phase of the program. I gained a lot of top-tier dimensions of what leadership in a “world-class university” should be,” he said.
The Wharton Executive Leadership and Management Certificate Program features comprehensive online courses designed to equip high-potential mid- to senior-level managers with advanced strategic insights and globally informed leadership frameworks. The program, delivered by renowned Wharton faculty, allows flexible pacing for professionals seeking to broaden their expertise and advance their careers.
