MMSU team shines in JPMAP nat’l confab
Proving themselves as students of one of the country’s best university, a team from MMSU bagged awards at the close of the 17th Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) National Convention in Alfonso, Cavite last February 16-18.
The team is composed of students from the College of Business, Economics and Accountancy (CBEA), taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management (BSBA-HRDM).
Winalyn Agustin, Camille Balinbin, Michaela Aquino, Allysa Baltazar, and Eulhaine Calma who composed the CBEA team became champion in the HR program design contest, with their program entitled “Skill and Enhancement Employability Network (SEEN). Also, Randy S. Labasan landed first runner-up in the extemporaneous speaking, while Hydee Cortez, Gina Coloma, and Janealle Agamao won third runner-up in the National HR Quiz competition. Their coaches are Don McArthney C. Tugaoen and Sarah Jane S. Inay, both faculty members of CBEA.
JPMAP is a national youth organization that commits to develop and empower its members to enable them grow from academic to professional level as future people managers of society.
On the other hand, HRDM focuses on people-oriented subjects associated with organizational workforce. Those who pursued this field have knowledge and abilities in workforce organization, job analysis, manpower recruitment and compensation, personnel training, legal provisions and other labor concerns.
