First timers post 90% passing record
TWENTY-SEVEN out of 30 first time takers passed the Licensure Examination for Electrical Engineers, thereby registering a 90 percent passing rate for MMSU. The national record was 59.82.
Likewise, five of the 12 first time takers made it in the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination posting 41.67 percent as against the national score of 32.79 percent.
On the whole, the university delivered an overall passing record of 62.79 percent in the engineer’s exam and 26.32 percent in the master electrician test.
The new engineers are: John David Acio, Raymond Acosta, Thyrone John Agpaoa, Hadjie Alejandro, Harvy Lowy Benzon, Nathaniel Rotsen Bilgera, Jaymar Brigado, Karl Dave dela Cuesta, Bryan Joshua Fernandez, Mary Lorena Gaoiran, Edison Garcia, Arvin Gudasen, Carlo Humper Gumtang, Jan Tyron Leaño,
Mark Dave Ibacarra, Cesar Manaday, Edsel Manarpaac, Mark Dave Marquez, Tyrrounne Neil Maulit, John Lester Mina, Melwyn Pascua. Alexandre Peralta Jr., Mark Janssen Salvatierra, Loyd Steve Sivila, Michael Allan Tacsiat, and Jezzamine Valdez.
Alejandro, Marquez, Peralta Jr., Valdez, and Calairo are also new master electricians.
The examinations were held in Manila on Sept. 6-8.
