ENC launches student retreat
By Karen de la Cruz, StratCom Correspondent
Every Nation Campus (ENC), in partnership with the Office for Student Affairs and Services, has recently launched a weekly student retreat at Mariano Marcos State University, an avenue for spiritual development and socialization.
Conducted every Friday at 5:00pm at MMSU Student Center, the retreat has been gathering hundreds of students across colleges in the Batac campus, participating in fellowship songs, games, and exhortation of the Bible.
The weekly retreat is an offshoot of the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by MMSU and ENC in February. They committed to conduct activities that focus on values formation, leadership, and students’ spiritual strengthening.
In an interview, Pastor Jenson Naceno, campus director of ENC Ilocos Norte, said, “the goal of the retreat is to help students acknowledge that God created and called them for a purpose, that is, to become Godly productive members of the society.”
ENC is a ministry arm of Every Nation Philippines, a non-profit, global organization whose vision is to train students in LIFE (Leadership, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence). (JVBT, StratCom)
