The standout performances from the lifters showcased the teamโs growing strength and competitiveness on the national stage. Organization Adviser, Mr. Marc Clinton Dacuycuy, noted the importance of continued exposure to major competitions to further build the maturity of MMSU athletes.
Mr. Dacuycuy also stressed that despite not earning medals, all the team members showed commendable performances and displayed sportsmanship and discipline throughout the competition.
Drawing student-athletes from schools nationwide, the Interschool and Novice Classic Powerlifting Competition 2026 was sponsored by the Powerlifting Association of the Philippines (PAP). MMSUโs participation in the meet, thus, serves as a platform to gain valuable experience in a nationally recognized competition.
