Laguna State Polytechnic University explores MMSU institutional operations framework

Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) officials visited Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) today, February 12, to learn about its institutional operations.
The LSPU delegation, led by Board Secretary Blaisdelle Regacho, was welcomed by Vice President for Administration and Finance Fides Bernardo Bitanga at FEM Hall.
The visiting officials reviewed MMSU’s operations, policies, practices, and strategic plans of several university units and offices.
Prof. Jeanette Dials presented the internationalization achievement and linkages of the university; Ms. Nataliza Llapitan covered Gender and Development; Mr. Gerard Ragudo spoke on Human Resource Management; and Dr. Maria Theresa Rasos addressed health-related matters.
Meanwhile, insights on MMSU Laboratory Schools were shared by Dr. Ronald Candy Lasaten, Dean of the College of Teacher Education; Prof. Philistia Mercuria Bagayas, Principal of the Laboratory Schools; and Prof. Mayflor C. Rivera, Chief of the Center for Inclusive Early Childhood Education.
Ms. Regacho expressed her gratitude to MMSU, commending the university for its renowned institutional standing.
“Our goal is to learn from MMSU. From achieving a QS ranking to advancing internationalization, programs, and policies, we also aspire to reach ASEAN Level Four. MMSU has long been a model and inspiration for LSPU.”
To further reinforce their collaboration, both institutions are eyeing a joint initiative to co-host a program focused on best practices.
