PJM meets with Accenture Manila execs
President Virgilio Julius P. Manzano, Jr. met Accenture Manila executives on November 25 to further strengthen the university’s partnership with the global professional services company and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The visit aimed to deepen engagements in areas related to skills development, career pathways, and technology-driven initiatives such as cybersecurity. This supports the university’s mission to produce skilled and industry-ready graduates.
During the visit, President Manzano toured the operational areas of Accenture Manila and met with company leaders and staff.
Accenture leaders also showcased the company’s cutting-edge technologies and guided the MMSU team through live demonstrations. They presented Accenture’s Learning Management System (LMS), highlighting how it enables continuous upskilling of employees across different career tracks. Through the LMS, employees, regardless of their bachelor’s degree, gain access to curated learning paths and training modules aligned with their roles and desired specializations.
In June 2024, MMSU and Accenture signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to strengthen digital upskilling among future information technology professionals in the university. As part of this commitment, Accenture also donated 30 laptops to equip students with the essential digital tools and support academic excellence.
MMSU’s partnership with global professional service companies like Accenture enhances the university’s capability to equip students for the ever-evolving workforce and expand career and training opportunities rooted in industry relevance. (𝘗𝘑𝘗)
