ABOUT
The Mariano Marcos State University aims to strengthen and enhance its technology promotion and transfer programs through the establishment of the MMSU Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (MMSU-ATBI). The MMSU-ATBI envisions to nurture and promote the innovation and entrepreneurship skills among the students, faculty, and local communities in the Ilocos Region. It also aims to support the launch and growth of promising ventures in the locality through the use of indigenous resources as well as to provide assistance to MSMEs in improving their business operations and other regulatory requirements. The establishment of MMSU-ATBI endeavors to commercialize university R&D outputs, transfer technologies to intended users, create employment, and accelerate the creation of new enterprises in the region for economic development.

The MMSU-ATBI is envisioned to be the center for research-based technology promotion and commercialization in North Luzon towards sustainable community development.

The MMSU-ATBI is committed to innovate, transfer, and commercialize knowledge products through the effective and efficient collaboration of industry partners sharing resources and technology.

EXTENSION DIRECTORATE
The Extension Directorate of the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) serves as the channel for inclusive and sustainable development in the community. For years, MMSU has served the people of the different municipalities of the province. It has been instrumental in helping farmers, fisherfolk, budding entrepreneurs, women, and community organizations in transforming themselves into micro- and small-scale entrepreneurs through its provision of relevant, timely, and science and technology-based information and trainings.
