2 COE profs in PPGSD, ITC posts

President Miriam E. Pascua has appointed Prof. Edmund Edison A. Esteban and Bobby A. Eclarin, both COE faculty members, as directors of the Physical Plant and General Services Division (PPGSD) and the Information Technology Center  (ITC), respectively.

Esteban takes the place of Dr. Rodolfo C. Natividad who retired last June 8. He is a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering from St. Louis University. Under a DOST-ESEP scholarship, he obtained in 1999 a Master’s in Engineering from the Technological University of the Philippines where he is also a candidate for the Ph.D. in Technological Management. He has been with MMSU since 1987 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor IV.

Eclarin will assume the post vacated by Reynaldo P. Villacillo who resigned as ITC director due to health concerns. He obtained his Master in Information Technology at De La Salle University in 2008 under a CHEd scholarship. He finished his undergraduate course in computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He joined MMSU in 1998 and currently holds the Instructor II rank.

Their appointments took effect June 5 and shall last until June 4, 2015.
