THE COLLEGE

The College of Industrial Technology was formerly the college department of the Ilocos Norte College of Arts and Trades in Laoag City which was integrated into the university by P.D. 1279 or the decree creating the Mariano Marcos State University on Jan. 6, 1978.

 
GOALS

The College is committed to educate and train students to become  skilled workers, knowledgeable  and competent  technology and livelihood education teachers, effective industrial supervisors and  managers who will contribute  immensely to the attainment of the socio-economic stability of the region  and of the  whole nation.

 
OBJECTIVES
  1. Equip the prospective technology and livelihood education teachers with the prescribed professional preparation in all school levels.
  2. Orient entrepreneurs in putting up shops to generate income and employment.
  3. Produce quality technicians and technologists who will be encouraged to enter into gainful occupation.
  4. Teach functional knowledge and life-long work skills in information and communication technology.
